Retail Sales Performance Dashboard

EXCEL

Cleaned and analyzed 1,000 retail transactions, then built PivotTables, a KPI summary, and an interactive dashboard with slicers for management reporting.

Key insight: Electronics leads revenue at $156,905 (vs. $155,580 for Clothing), and the 46–60 age group drives ~32% of total sales on its own — with women aged 46–60 the single highest-spending segment in the dataset. May is the clear peak month; September the clear seasonal dip.

Housing Value Analysis

POWER BI

Built a two-page Power BI report on the Boston Housing dataset examining which town-level factors associate with home value, using Power Query ETL, DAX measures, and an interactive slicer-driven dashboard.

Key insight: Crime rate is the strongest differentiator between value tiers — low-value towns average roughly 13× the crime rate of high-value towns, far outweighing other factors tested. The dataset's ethically problematic "B" column was identified and deliberately excluded from the analysis.

E-commerce Customer & Sales Analysis

SQL

Queried the Northwind database to answer real business questions on customer value, sales trends, category performance, delivery speed, and repeat-purchase behavior — including window functions for ranking and growth-rate analysis.

Key insight: Every single customer in the database (93 of 93) placed more than one order — a 100% repeat-purchase rate. Beverages leads category revenue, but is driven almost entirely by one product (Côte de Blaye, ~5.7× the next best-seller), a concentration risk worth flagging. All three shipping companies deliver in a near-identical 7.8–7.9 days on average.
